Marilyn Monroe Costumes Continue to Bring Top Dollar at Auction

Yesterday, Profiles In History auctioned an additional 415 lots from the Debbie Reynolds collection of Hollywood memorabilia.  As expected, the four Marilyn Monroe film outfits were the top selling costumes in the sale, with a combined take of $1,156,200.00.  The most money, $319,800.00, was paid for Marilyn’s gown from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.
