Oddly, what’s not yet been touched upon is JLo’s attempt to channel Marilyn by wearing a gown strikingly similar to the Travilla gown Marilyn wore to the 1953 Photoplay Awards. JLo’s GG dress is also reminiscent of the green Versace with plunging neckline from years ago.
You read my mind on both Drew Barrymore’s hair and JLo’s dress as I was thinking MM too! As soon as I saw JLo’s dress, I immediately thought of Marilyn’s gold Travilla gown. When I saw Drew Barrymore’s hair I thought of Marilyn singing happy birthday to President Kennedy, but I like your take on it as well with the Bert Stern photo you posted.

Very cool that you posted this! I was a little iffy on Drew’s hair, but from some angles it looked really lovely. Definitely had a Marilyn vibe going. I also noticed Jennifer Lopez’s dress 😀
