In honor of Richard Avedon’s 100th birthday on M In honor of Richard Avedon’s 100th birthday on May 15, “Avedon 100” is a new exhibition currently featured at the @gagosian gallery in New York.

Marilyn Monroe and Avedon worked together many times and became close friends. Of particular note are his works with her titled “Fabled Enchantresses” and “Sad Marilyn.”
