The Marilyn Monroe Collection is proud to assist in raising money for “Peyton’s Fund,” in honor and memory of Peyton Slone. Peyton passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023 in his hometown of Hindman, Kentucky. His mother Lisa, a close personal friend of Marilyn Monroe collector and historian Scott Fortner, has asked the Knott County Community Foundation to assist her in developing an ongoing educational memorial fund that honors the memory of her son and provides a legacy of assistance to future Knott Central graduates. Our goal is $25,000.00.
100% of donations will be used for educational opportunities for future Knott County Central High School graduates.
Use the link below to make a donation. Checks are also accepted. Be sure to write “Peyton’s Fund” in the comments section of the website or on your check, and also add the initials “MM” to the online comments section or on your check. Every dollar donated by fans and followers of the MMC will be matched, up to $2,500.00. It’s important to add “MM” to your donation so that the Knott County Community Foundation knows your donation will be matched by the MMC.
