It’s amazing for me to realize that it has already been a decade since launching MarilynMonroeCollection.com. Many wonderful things have happened since establishing an Internet presence: Exhibits, speaking engagements, fundraising opportunities, and documentaries and interviews.
Since 2003, the Marilyn Monroe Collection has been exhibited in exciting venues, including the Ferragamo Museum in Florence, the Hollywood Museum in Hollywood California, and even the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Los Angeles. Future exhibit opportunities are on the horizon, and details will be posted once confirmed.
The collection has been featured in several documentaries, including “With Her,” and “Unclaimed Baggage.” Collection items have been featured on television, in interviews with Reuters and the Associated Press, in several magazine articles and online press pieces, and even in books.
Most important though, over the last ten years I’ve developed a wonderful network of Marilyn Monroe contacts and friends. I’m truly appreciative and thankful for everyone in the Marilyn Monroe community. My life has been enriched greatly by the presence of the wonderful people I’ve met over the years.
With the ten year anniversary of www.MarilynMonroeCollection.com, I’ve launched a new webiste! Be sure to check it out.
For a “look back” past MMC.com website snapshots are provided below. It’s incredible to see how the site has evolved over the years, from technology advancements to the growth of the collection itself.
Here’s to many more decades of “Keeping The Legend Alive.”
